I bought a pair of CS 10 3000 reels at the end of 2025. They were supplied with spare spools one of which was slightly damaged. I contacted Martine at Cadence and a day later a replacement spool arrived. Customer service does not get any better than that. Great rods and reels and brilliant customer service.

It is always useful to either have a spare spool of the same line you are using or an alternative of different breaking strains to adjust to the species and size encountered. The reasonable price of spools means this is eminently possible.

One of the main selling points for the CS10 4000 for me was the very reasonably priced spare spools. I've got 4 spares for various different lines now. Comparable _eels were selling spare spools for 3 x the price of these. Well done Cadence!
