I recently bought another CR10 9ft rod as they are so good. They are extremely strong and to prove it I recently landed a 17lb carp from the margins on it.
I bought 9ft cr10#2 also 13ft cr10#2 match rod both rods arrived quickly ,as it has been so cold i never got the chance to use them ,until this week when i used 9ft feeder combined with cs5 reel ,it cast really smooth and i had several carp and skimmers topped with a 15lb common which the rod handled with ease on 3lb bottom the action of the rod was fantastic and just played the fish ,cant wait to get out and try the 13ft match rod ,you wont get a better rod at the price if you are fishing small commercials it is a must have rod
So pleased with this 9ft#2 rod that i ordered an 11ft #feeder rod and a 11ft #2match rod ,the action on these rods are fantastic.You feel as though you are in full control of landing good size fish.

i have just unpacked a9 ft CR10 feeder rod, WOW the quality of the finish and fittings is FIRST class. To say I am most impressed is a massive understatement, it beat my expectations all round. I have rods that cost far more, this easily sits with them for quality. A bonus was I bought the rod in a package deal with a CS 5 reel after contacting James,the reel compliments the rod perfectly..Thanks James. Just got to get on the bank now to put it through it’s paces, if it performs as good as it looks and feels I will be more than happy.
Simply a fantastic rod. Been using it for a few months now on both commercials and canals. The first thing you notice is how light it is, unbelievable. The action is soft but very strong. The tips are very sensitive for bite detection. I’ve had silver and carp on this rod, I’ve even hauled in a 8lb one with no issues, the bend was fantastic. It casts feeders with great accuracy at short ranges. It fits perfect with both the 3000 and 4000 reels. It is great for canals, fishing to close in islands and margin work.
Will shortly be leaving a review on the 11 foot match once I get more use out of it.
