Ordered at Christmas, excellent delivery service with no hassle. I bought these rods in the BOGOF deal which was amazing. Opening of the rods revealed an outstanding sleek, light and beautiful crafted rod, comes with 2 and 3 oz tips making it ideal for the kind of fishing which I want to do. Whilst there have been no "big" catches to report the fun I have had with chub and trout have given me confidence in the rods to have the ability to cope with most situations. Excellent product and great design, well done to the Cadence team and Des Taylor for the outstanding products. Thank you.

I have a 12ft specimen rod 1.5tc, has a great all through action, can cast upto 5 ounce leads. Great rod for the river. Really impressed with this rod. Great colour and a good design. Thanks to the team and Des Taylor.
Having used several different rods over the years, and been pleased with some and disappointed with others, I have been very impressed with the two examples that Cadence have recently supplied me with: The Specimen 12ft 1lb TC and the 11ft 1.5lb TC.
Both come with come with twin tips -an Avon and a Quiver- both are well made with full cork handles and two quiver tips, 2oz and 3oz. (These are white and visible in low light)
The rods come in a cloth bag and rod tube when ordering on line.
Im very impressed and pleased with them. IMHO the only downside is that the 12ft 1lb TC doesn't come with a 1oz tip, other than that SUPERB!!!
I have the 1.5lb been using it on the Wye and have been very impressed with the ease it has handled. Cracking rod.
I’ve got the 1lb version of this rod and it’s an absolute gem.
An anglers rod of that there is no doubt.
Copes with anything and is perfect for tench, bream, chub and barbel of a certain size.
It’s absolutely perfect!
