Cadence CP800 9M Margin Pole

Stif.light.strong.nice pole.

Pole handled a 15lb lump really well, added bonus is that all my Daiwa top kits fit it.

Bought these due to breaking numbers 4&5 on my daiwa tournament. A lot cheaper than buying even the daiwa generic sections.
Delivered very quickly and very well packaged. On opening was great to see both sections were supplied with the nose cones.
Both the sections fit perfectly and I would recommend them to anyone who has a daiwa pole.

I received the CP800 last week.
I have not used it yet ,it appears very well made and undoubtedly up to the task of subduing Margin Carp. I am not an experienced pole angler and have been fishing for over fifty years trying virtually every other type of angling.
James was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the options suitable for my intended quarry, fitting elastic for me and puller kits. Many thanks to Martine for dealing with my numerous emails making sure the purchase was suitable for my needs.
On receipt I decided I would like to buy the 10.5 extension, unfortunately this is currently out of stock. I hope this returns to stock soon .

I bought my cp 800 pole in 2021 mainly because I read that my Daiwa top kits would fit. On arrival I was delighted that all the sections would fit my Daiwa Airity. The pole has proved to be an excellent purchase and has handled low doubles with ease. I recommended it to a friend and he has been delighted with his too. I am a club matchman and in my advancing years I find it more difficult wielding the long pole to compete with our clubs younger members, so the cp 800 is also used for fishing short and it has proved a great pole for this style of fishing. When I saw Cadence had brought out a 10.5m extension I thought I would take a punt. I am pleased to say that this does not affect the balance or stiffness of the cp 800 using black hydro in a top 2 at 10.5m. Well done Cadence on another excellent product.

I already own the cp 1000 pole and I’m over the moon with it, so I thought I would treat myself to the cp 800 margin pole

Bought this as a back up pole for my diawa and it’s perfect. All sections are the same length and fit perfectly.
Pole is super strong and stiff. Perfect for margin work and big fish.

I bought this to use alongside my Daiwa G90 as all the sections are interchangeable and I can use all my existing top kits. First time out with it was a match where fishing short and in the margins is the best way and it’s home to some proper lumps! The CP800 felt super light and responsive and very powerful when connecting with double figure Carp. End result was 2nd in the match and really impressed with the performance of the CP800 so much so that I’m now considering buying the CP2000 16m to replace my G90 and make a full switch to Cadence!

Nice strong,and well balanced pole, and sections are interchangeable with my Daiwa pole, so a great piece of kit to have in the bag

Excellent product, in my view Cadence have missed out by marketing this solely as a margin pole, fit a match top 3 and it’s an excellent short pole for those of us that don’t need or can’t manage a long pole, it’s light, well balanced and feels completely manageable even by a pole novice like myself.
If you are concerned about paying for sections that will either remain in your hold-all or at home don’t be mislead this makes for a superb price affordable alternative. As other manufacturers have started to do all kits and extensions are interchangeable, no waste if you trade up to a longer pole, in fact all sections interchange between Cadence poles brilliant idea.
