Having recently joined the cadence team!
I have bought 3 reels a rod/case spools and the 6m whip which is a dream to fish with today I had some good roach Rudd and a 5-2oz carp on it ! And it handled it amazingly I’m so glad I joined the cadence team because they care and they fish as well
Love the videos on YouTube thanks
Brilliant whip, light , strong and very responsive . Looks as though it can handle some decent sized fish as well.
Have to say a big thank you to Martine and James. Ordered the whip a few days before Christmas and Martine phoned to say that the warehouse was closed for the holiday break. James, however, was in my area the following day and would drop it off to me , which he did. How’s that for customer service!
I normally fish rivers between 8’ and 14’ deep so tend to fish 5m or 6m to hand or use my CP200 (9m) as a pole. I want to be able to set up more than one top 5 so ordered a further top 5 (put over sections rather than telescopic).
I love using both the CP200 6m and 9m, both are excellent, strong, light and very versatile.
I recently purchased the Cadence CP200 package and I have to say that you get a lot of quality kit for your money. The 6 & 9m versions are well balanced and very versatile regarding changing/adding sections. I have elasticated the no 2 section and added a quick connector on the flick tip on the 6m and was able to use it for an all day session yesterday.
The 6m whip performed extremely well in flick tip guise and has a great action and is comfortable in the hand all day. I did spend half the session on the elastic top as I was getting plagued by pike grabbing my hooked fish, not to be deterred by this, the whip gave me the confidence that it will be very capable of dealing with bigger bonus fish when encountered.
All in all I am very pleased with my purchase and will leave a review when I have had a chance to use the 9m variant.
I've recently bought the 6 meter cadence cp 200 whip . I have had time to really put it through its paces yet but what I can say is that it is great tool to have in your armoury not only for traditional whip fishing but on them windy days when you find it difficult to hold a pole.
It's nice and slim and really light. Also you haven't got to worry about hooking bigger fish with the flick tip cut back or even just using it with some elactic through the number two section. Looking forward to giving it a good workout through the winter.
