Cadence CR10 11ft Feeder Rod

Lovely actioned feeder rod, will be very versatile

I bought this with a cadence cs5 4000 reel recently and took it out for an outing in our club match! It performed really well comfortably handling the carp I caught to 9lb. Really well balanced rod and performs very well and compares extremely favourably against my 11ft acolyte rod and hx pro reel - and of course so much less expensive! I’m a convert thanks to my fishing buddy Steve Amison! I hope the #3 is in soon I’m looking forward to taking that out too!

Haven’t had chance to use this yet however if it’s anything like my 12 and 13 foot #2’s it’ll be good. It’s a hi class rod on par with more expensive rivals with good body and power but responsive, my 12 foot version reacts well when a fish lunges when you’ve got it near the net so this should be the same.
It’s a two piece rod and when a tip is inserted and the rod still broken down you can’t use a ready rod sleeve as the tip is about 3cm longer than the first section so there’s a danger of breaking the tip. To get round this I have used a bit of tube on the spigot of the first section to make them the same length, works a treat.
Delivery was as usual very quick, great service.

I bought this rod to complement the Cadence 11ft #1 rod which I have been using for some months with great success. I opted to go for the slightly beefier #2 for more flexibility on feeder sizes and longer casts when needed. My initial intention was to have this as an unclipped rod to dot in between, or further out than the 20m or 40m lines that I have become used to targeting in the colder months. However, first time out I ended up clipping it up around 10m further than the long line that I was fishing with the #1 rod. Typical winter fishing, bites were hard won, but I looked on course for a win first time out using the #2 rod until I unfortunately lost a decent bream within about 10m of the bank (no-one likes to see that Jeff), coming second by just 5oz! Ouch! Result apart it was a perfect start for a rod that will be getting a lot of use. It's obviously got more casting power than the #1 model, but playing fish feels exactly the same and the bite indication is just as good. I'm absolutely delighted and a very satisfied customer.

Ordered 11ft #2 after Christmas deadline and delivered next day thanks to Martine. Lovely rod I took to use on an Aire & Calder Navigation match on Dec 21st, but after searching around with the bomb , found the bottom too rocky had to put the feeder line on back burners. Will be taking it to Southfield Reservoir on 28th and fingers crossed a few of resident Bream will be caught using it.

Recently purchased another cadence rod,I already have 2 cr10 13foot 1 and 2, float rods I,ve never really been a massive fan of fishing a feeder fishing or ledgering in general.I think this is about to change.What a stunning rod it is just what I,ve been looking for,just about perfect lovely smooth action feels spot on in the hand and casts like a dream.Once again excellent equipment ,well made,sensibly priced quality what's not to like we'll done all at cadence you should be proud of your products

CS10 11ft #1 feeder rod
This was one of the first rods I brought back in November 2017.
This is more of a long term review .
Its a slim blank with a lot of bottle by that I mean it's soft and responsive when you catching small roach/skimmers on light feeder/bomb/lines and small hooks.
This winter has seen it come out of the bag a lot more and has saved many a blank.
I've recently been using it to target big F1s when they have gone past the pole line or in windy conditions when presentation needs the finesse still.This is a little pocket rocket of a rod and will handle bonus carp into double figures as the progressive action doesn't lock up along with catching shy biting skimmers and roach.
It will easily reach distances to 30-40 meters so makes it an ideal skimmer rod for when it's difficult chucking small bomb or feeders.
I've also used it on the river when chasing the dace down the swim on the whip line.
It is one special bit of kit and we'll worth the money.

Received my feeder rod #2 last week so I managed to get on the bank this weekend to try it out , its extremely light and responsive I was in two minds to buy a cadence 11ft or a guru 11ft and I'm pleased I took to social media for advice which came back with cadence on top, the quality is excellent and most of all with the 2oz tip how responsive it was I managed to land quite a few double figure carp with ease and I have matched this rod with my CS7 4000 reel which has given me the perfect combo for my local commercial fishing.

Purchased a feeder #2 rod 11ft it was between this and a guru of the same line , I'm glad to say the cadence is absolutely amazing used it over the weekend and it never let me down I landed quite a few carp some double figures with ease the rod is light and very responsive I've matched this with a CS7 4000 reel what I like the most is its sensitivity with a 2oz tip all in all well worth the money thinking I might buy a 10ft when they are in stock highly recommended.

Been using this for a few months for chucks up to 40m with light feeders on open water reservoirs fishing for Silvers/Bream.It a superb rod for casting & playing soft mouthed fish.
It was realy put to the test this week when a Pike grabbed the 2oz Perch I was reeling in,it handled it with ease & after 10 min it was in the net weighing in at 12lb.GREAT ROD!

I purchased this rod having been very pleased with the performance and quality of the 13’ #2 feeder jobs. I was looking for something light, mainly for short/medium range skimmer work and this appeared to fit the bill. As expected, the rod arrived promptly and well packaged. Very light and slim blank, lower rings are offset which is always welcome when it’s a wet day. I’ve now used it the rod on three occasions and would personally suggest this is best for feeders/bombs between 15 and 30g when fishing 25 to 45m. Top section is very responsive and flexible which proved useful when fishing short for smaller, soft-mouthed skimmers. Ideal for shallower waters where there is limited tow but something a bit beefier might be better in deeper water when there is a lot of tow on the water. Middle section has surprising power and dealt well with a surprise, lively carp of about 3.5lb, but I wouldn’t recommend this rod as a carp tool. If you fish smaller lakes and slow-moving rivers and drains with skimmers and roach as your main target species, you’ll not find a better performing rod for the money.

#1 11 ft feeder - lovely bit of kit. Very slim blank, sensitive tips that move seemlessly into middle section which has a nice bit of “oomf”. I was chucking a 25g cage feeder 40 yards without too much grunt. I can’t find anything negative to say about the rod (or the pair of 13ft feeder rods I’ve also got). Superb value for money

First match outing results in a win. The four carp for 33lb8oz were simply no match for it. Smooth delivery of power and the finesse and feel make it the best on the market. When a 12ft two piece #2 feeder is available please let me know !
