I absolutely love the new CP250 Whip. I had previously used the Drennan Acolyte 10m whip but had endless problems with it. This is really light, the domed bungs to each section make it easy to ship and pack away and it is super slim. Just brilliant 👍
Having happily used the CP200 for a few years I decided to update my kit with the new CP250. I also purchased an extra top 5 & top 3. This new 10m CP250 is just superb and so easy to use. It feels a fraction slimmer than the CP200 but also feels stronger. It is amazing really and for the price I can't believe how good it is. The flick tips are upgraded with a rotating tip that helps to easily attach your line and avoids tangles. There is strength all thru the whip and fishing the flick tips is easy. I've put #10 & #12 elastic into the other top kits and fully confident using this on the river in the flow. I will be trying this on a reservoir soon.
I watched james vid and cut one tip back and another taken out the top section and my 3rd left flick tip in. it was a very windy day and could control it where i would not want to get the pole out. Great bit of kit
Great piece of kit, have been looking for a good whip for a few weeks now, my fishing pal purchased the same a few weeks earlier, joints are very good and no damage showing after a couple of times on the bank, would 100% recommend this whip 👌 👍
Fished my new CP250 whip for the first time in match conditions yesterday. I’ve used the CP200 whip for a while now but Cadence have taken things to another level with the CP250. (Didn’t think that was possible). Fished it elasticated (no 1 removed) at full length, 10.5m plus the butt section. Strong but light and very versatile, an awesome bit of kit. I’m sure it will handle anything, water, weather conditions or fish that I’m likely to encounter!
Thanks Cdence👍
The cp250 whip is perfect for the canal fishing I do. It handles bream over 4 Ld effortlessly and even the odd jack. My pole is now in the loft and I have been converted to the whip. My fishing buddy has ordered one last week after getting another thrashing 🤣🤣. The graphics and joints are showing no wear after 8 trips. I just can’t find a fault with it. I have the Drennan 800 and loved that but this is another level in quality and performance. Best purchase I have made for some years 😁👍
What bottom bungs are used for the number 2 section?
Ordered an extension for my CP200, the mini section and a top 5. Unsure exactly what I would need and told the CP250 is an exact fit, so went with that. Great communication from the team.
hi MY NEW WHIP IS GREAT VERY LIGHT AND EASY TO USE.IT IS GREAT VALUE FOR THE PRICE I LOOK FOWARD TO DOING SOME WINTER FISHING WITH IT THANKS FOR A GREAT PRODUCT REGARDS SEAN
Hi I recently purchased a CP250 whip which I am very pleased with. I was in the Netherlands recently and had some great Catches with it. Handled everything I caught. However when I arrived home and using the whip the Dacron on the flick tip came away from the whip after striking and hooking a small roach meaning I lost both fish and rig.
Great addition to the cadence whip family
The extra length gives you the ability to fish further out with comfort
It is light weight and very strong suitable for most types of fishing
