So both are refined but the C2 has the slightly more buoyant tip. Both are suitable for a wide variety of types and sizes of bait but the 1.75mm thick tips on the C2 makes them a little better when laying some line on the bottom and obviously easier to see at a distance and in difficult light conditions. And C1 are just that little bit more sensitive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eStems are 0.8mm (C1) and 1.0mm (C2) clear fibreglass as this material has an excellent combination of strength and stability. Stems are a decent length also as that helps again with stability for a slim float. As with any pole float though stems can be trimmed to suit personal preference (even winder sizes).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe ring eyes, which are placed over the hollow tips for added strength, sit at the very top of the balsa body and are blackened stainless steel. These have a proper, fully formed, ring to hold and protect the line. Some ring eyes are either made of too many coils making them a bit too bulky (not nice on slim bodies) and also without a single fully formed ring.
