Their weight is nominally 5.0g, 6.0g, 7.0g and 8.0g. The 5.0g float has one extra disc , 6.0g has two, 7.0g has three and 8.0g has four. Simply unscrew the bottom of the brass weight with it’s swivel, then take off the disc or discs that you want and re-screw the base back.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese can be trapped on the line in traditional Waggler style with rubber float stops either side of the built-in swivel eye or fixed via an adaptor of one type or another. Many anglers though use a simple Snaplink attachment with that itself trapped between float stops or similar.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis way is better as it allows you to change the size, weight or colour of a float in seconds and if you take made-up rods to take off the float when packing the rod away.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe clear discs supplied FOC as an option can help to stop the floats from diving too deeply upon hitting the water although ‘feathering’ the cast helps a lot. These are thin flexible PVC and not thick, rigid foam or plastic.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese fly very well and as is normal the bigger, longer versions extremely well.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are two tip colours available; dark orange and yellow.
