About the Cadence CR10 12ft Match Rod #1
The lightest action in a family of three Cadence 12ft float rods. Superb fast, progressive action from the tip through to midsection with complete non-locking parabolic action. This rod will find favour when fishing commercials in winter as well as natural venues when targeting silverfish and the occasional bonus fish.

About the Cadence CR10 12ft Match Rod #2
A fantastically versatile float rod that with the #1 and #3 versions completes the 12ft length match rod range. Brilliant tip to middle action allows you to fish with confidence down to 0.08mm hook lengths when targeting silverfish on natural and commercial venues. It’s also a brilliant rod when targeting bigger carp on commercials as it has enough power to step up to heavier 0.20mm bottoms with no change in action. The action and fine hollow rolled tip mean it is perfect for waggler fishing on lakes and commercials and also stick float fishing on smaller rivers.

About the Cadence CR10 12ft Match Rod #3
Predominantly designed for commercial fisheries, this rod takes over from our 11ft match rods when longer casts and bigger floats are required. The increased power of the #3 progressive action also helps when targeting bigger sized carp. The fast crisp action also helps when casting and striking as the line pick up is superb, essential when fishing with pellet wagglers and traditional wagglers at longer ranges. This rod will also find favour with match and pleasure anglers targeting chub and barbel on smaller rivers where the 12ft length is more convenient than longer length match rods.

About Cadence CR10 Match Fishing Rods
Fishing has moved on so much from 20 years ago when a match angler would typically carry two 13 foot match rods; one for light line work and a more powerful rod for bigger fish and fishing at greater distances.
And the Cadence CR10 match range reflects the diversity of venues, approaches, species and styles of fishing we all use to get the most from our sport.
So whether you want a soft-actioned 11ft rod for canal waggler fishing, a soft-actioned 12 or 13ft rod for picking off silvers and F1s on winter commercials, a 13 foot power float rod for big carp or chub on tight streams and rivers, through to a 16ft three-piece float rod for targeting barbel and chub with strong line and strong hooklengths, we have it covered – and then some.
The Cadence team are all dedicated, committed anglers, passionate about bringing out rods with the correct actions and capabilities for their specific tasks.
All of our rods are fit for purpose – designed by anglers, for anglers.
With our performance for less strategy, Cadence offers superb rods at fantastic price points. The bottom line is that this means you can afford to buy a rod that may only be used four or five times a year for a specific purpose, without breaking the bank.

Bought as a power waggler it will exceed all expectations. As I’ve come to learn about cadence products they ooze quality and performance most noticeably in the playing action. When the vast majority of rods are locking up this’ll keep giving and retaining the purest arc. As balanced tackle goes I would recommend a minimum of 0.12mm hook length and avoid anything under 3 1/2 AA to cast. Definitely money well spent.

I purchased recently a 12ft match cs10 #1.
I wanted a 2pce soft action rod to cushion roach and skimmers and have been looking to retire a very old normark microlite I have had for an eternity.
The 2 pce 12 match is easy to store snd leave set up in a hard case.
This rod is absolutely incredible! I don’t know how James can produce a rod like this for the money but I’m very pleased he has!
The action is super soft and has the typical cadence parabolic action which is incredible with a great line pick up.
I used it for the first time today at old bury hill fisheries in Dorking and with an .10 bottom I managed to bag skimmers, bream to 5lb and a lone 4lb tench for a great bag totalling 42lb.
For those who expect bigger stamp fish regularly, I would advise trying a number #2 version, although the #1 coped with those bigger fish today playing them slowly more than adequately.
Top marks again to the cadence team!

#3 lovely balance and action to the rod, super crisp and with that little extra power if needed.
As all cadence rods it screams quality and performance at a superb price.
(1st chuck resulted in a near 20lb carp on 0.15 bottoms, 18 hook and throughout playing the fish I felt in total control)

I have always been a fan of Shakespeare tackle and still frequently
use mach 1 rods and mach 3 reels so when I saw James Robbins was backing this new brand and getting recommendations from friends i knew it was worth having a look at the website.
I bought a 12ft CR10#3 back in April 2019 as a longer commercial carp waggler rod. It was my first Cadence purchase. I took the plunge against my usual Drennan Acolytes because I was not expecting to use it loads of times and that the price was very attractive to fill a gap
To say I am pleased is an understatement. the Quality, finish and performance far exceeds a rod in this price bracket and I now find the rod sitting on the roost at almost every commercial match I fish. I have had fish to 14lb so far, never for a moment did i think the rod was under threat of breaking nor did it lock up allowing me to stay in complete control.
This is a clear example that you do not need to spend high end money to get high end product and at this pricing I can get more rods for my budget without compromising performance.
I would confidently recommend this rod to anyone and have added other Cadence products to my portfolio since which i will also review once I’ve used a few times.

Took a chance on a 14ft No.1 a year ago. I was so impressed with the rod I bought a 12ft No.2 a month later. Other 12ft float rods are on the market but most are so called carp waggler rods. This No.2 is a classic 12ft float rod, a rare beast these days. Of course it’s light and slim, of course it’s crisp. Top marks on the fit and finish but the action makes this a bit special. It is the best ‘classic’ float rod I have ever held. The first time I hooked a carp it was a surprise, at first it felt under gunned due to myself being used to carp waggler rods, then I got it as the power kicked in. The confidence I have in this rod is now 100%. Dream of a rod, a real feat of engineering. Bravo.

Bought this for silvers and crucians, it’s my fourth CR10 so these rods are so good some one as faithless as myself keeps coming back. For a soft rod it is crisp and accurate, amazing parabolic action. First test session for crucians I hooked a ten pound mirror on single corn. I’d describe the curve of this rod with a ‘double’ storming round the landing stage as alarming rather than beautiful. Lesser rods would be in the bin right now. This is not a lesser rod. Not once did I feel out of control. It’s streets beyond the rods I’m used to. Even the babbling oaf that I am is speachless. Outstanding.

Used my CR10 12’ #3 for the first time on the Gloucester canal. It is an absolute delight to use. It is very light but has some real backbone when bullying big bream out of the weeds. 10/10.

Use the 12 ft #1. For the second time this week on a silver session, And landed a double figure mirror carp,I was on 0. 12 bottom 3.5lb and size 16 MXC5 Hook, I can honestly say without this Rod I would not Have Landed the fish, It absorbed all the lunges, What a fantastic rod.

CR10 12ft #2. What a stunning piece of kit. I already owned a few Cadence Reels, and I love em, but the rod is far superior than i expected. It oozes qualty. I have matched the rod with a CS5 and 0.14mm Stroft ABR mainline. It is at home chucking 3BB and 4BB wagglers for fine presentation for silvers and Skimmers whilst still being able to handle mid size Carp on light tackle, fished through the water.
It feels like a throwback to the traditional waggler rods back in the day , but far more refined. There is a big difference between this rod and the plethora of pellet waggler rods in today’s market.
