Yet again I have nothing but positives to say about these rods, the CR10 11ft Match #2 is just great, it really is a joy to use, value for money is second to none. If you haven’t tried a Cadence product, I’d recommend you look out for the road shows and get along, you’ll be glad you did.

I’ve used the CR10 11ft Match #2 quite a bit recently and it’s a fantastic piece of kit.
Particularly used it to fish to islands which are out of pole range, and it’s handled carp up to 7lb as well as small roach and skimmers, without bumping them once.
Two recent sessions stick out the most; 30lb and 70lb+ nets of chub up to 3lb+.
Just a wonderful rod to catch these fish on.
Casting in the 15-25 metre range, then this is the perfect tool for the job!

Purchased #1 11ft match last year for small river trotting (roach and chub).
Season has just closed hence the timing of this review. Fished with it a lot this winter.
It is an absolute delight to use. Light as a feather. Lovely balance (been using it with a center pin reel). Wonderful fish playing action. Soaks up those lunges when you hook a decent chub. Bends right down to the handle.
Managed to snap the tip whilst packing up in the dark. Ordered a new top section from Cadence late on the Monday. Replacement top arrived first thing Wednesday.
Both the rod and the after sales service are first class.

CR10 11ft Match #2 – Bought this to predominantly use as a waggler on shallow canals and local ponds. Christened it the other day and would have to say the action is absolutely fantastic.
I paired it with the CS10 3000 reel and they matched up brilliantly. Would highly recommend this rod especially for the price and it should make a very nice commercial pellet waggler rod if matched with a 4000 reel!

I bought a Cr10 11ft Match #2 predominantly for commercial carp waggler fishing up to 30m. Paired it up with a Cs7 4000 and am very happy, the balance feels great and this is very lightweight so no problem to use all day.
Used it first on a pleasure session where I caught around 130lb in 3 hours with fish up to 6lb. As most report the action is superb and you never feel the rod is going to lock up and let you down. Have subsequently used in as part of a 2nd place match session posting 126lb.
If you covered the badge up on this and gave it to someone to use and told them it was £200+ to buy they would not question it, it feels and behaves like a rod in that price range so at around £80 with the 20% discount this really is a steal. #1 version next for me for canal waggler fishing.

I have a CR10 11ft No1, and I find it hard to fault. Simply the best Canal Waggler rod I’ve ever owned and great when matched to a CS10 3000 real, light responsive, with a lovely soft top, but plenty of power if needed
