Whilst James jetted off to France for a few days indulging his other passion in life – skiing, Yorkshire’s finest Paul Kozyra stepped in for this week’s video. It’s been tough going at times of late, but Pete from Mitre Tackle in York reckoned Paul would catch well on the wand at Rising Sun fishery located at Aldwark. The roach and skimmers were abundant and the superfine quivertips on the 10ft Cadence Wand kept our wizard busy. Some useful rig advice and general tips for wand fishing are contained in this video.
