In this edition of Cadence Fishing TV, James Robbins heads to the River Tyne, near Hexham. The Tyne is renowned for its salmon and sea trout fishing, but it also has some excellent coarse fishing too. James recently fished a Riverfest Qualifier on this stretch and he was impressed with the quality and size of the dace he caught. This wild and unpredictable river can produce big shoals of dace and with the occasional chub caught, it can produce big weights up to 60lbs. This video is a fantastic insight into how a top match angler copes with a strong downstream wind when fishing with the waggler. As with all our Cadence Fishing TV episodes, there’s plenty of top tips and tactics to help you get the most from your fishing.
